My work is not just a career to me. It's something I love. I work with a diverse range of clients; individual and couple, family, adult, adolescents and group.
Therapy is an intimate relational process, and a science of healing.
I work with people struggling with life and identity issues, addictions, trauma and all mental health issues. As an LGBTQ-affirming therapist, I specialize in working with the people in the community. I know the unique issues involved, including identity and stigma, discrimination, shame and the threat of violence.
I help people dealing with issues from anxiety and depression to personality disorders, sexual abuse, relationship issues, toxic shame and trauma.
I specialize in working with men and men's issues. I understand the courage it takes for a man to challenge conditioned roles and come to a therapist's office, admitting he needs help.
I will see you as an individual, and meet you where you are. We can create the space into which you can bring your biggest issues, life struggles and relationship difficulties, and find perspective and healing.
I work through an integrative, psychodynamic approach and merge eastern and western concepts of healing. I also utilize creative and effective therapies, including SandTray Therapy.
I teach mindfulness and practice meditation, and welcome spirituality into our work together. Spirit is an essential part of who we are, and I view therapy as a sacred endeavor. Real healing includes Body, Mind and Spirit.
I welcome you to be in touch. Call me and schedule an initial consultation, so we can meet and start to get to know each other.
I look forward to meeting you, and to joining you in your journey toward healing.
Healing comes when we meet our wounded places with compassion. --Stephen Levine
